If you think you can, You should!
Many times life gives us opportunities to break through the glass ceiling, to just cross our limits and do something unusual…which has never been done before by anyone. But whenever it gifts something, it needs some refunds. Life is not so casual Janaab!
So, what does it need? The answer to this question can be as tricky as it is simple. It just needs our 100% attention, consideration, devotion, and perseverance…yes that’s it.
Most of you must be thinking is it always possible to give all of these. In our hectic life…to get through our routine chores is a big challenge and you are saying just give full devotion to an unusual opportunity which life has thrown at you and that too without any prior notice.
Yes, it is difficult to come out of the shell or what we term as the comfort zone in which we have fitted ourselves but if you want to cross the ocean, you’ll have to lose sight of the shore.
To gain something extraordinary, you’ll have to give something extraordinary.

Many of us just keep waiting for the right time, right place, the right choice and right ‘what not’ but the fact is that the ‘right’ never comes, you have to create it, you have to arrange it by hook or crook, in whatever way possible.
The lines of Sahir Ludhiyanvi fits completely here,
“Hazaar barq ghire, lakh andhiyan uthe
Sahir Ludhiyanvi
Wo phool khil ke rahenge, jo khilne wale hai”
which loosely translates to if you think you can, you should for no one is better than you and no one is wittier than you and if you take 1 step towards the opportunity it will come towards you with a pace double than yours.
No doubt you should move forward consciously and wisely but that doesn’t mean you always keep thinking only. In this 5G era, even time doesn’t have much time for you.
Hence, next time when life knocks your door with an opportunity, don’t let her wait much.
The second thought which may come to your mind is the fear of failure. There’s no escaping the fact that failures are crucial to a successful life or career. It creates a sense of responsibility towards our future actions.
One who has never tasted failure, can’t relish the taste of success. Failures occur every day, in school, home, job, and within families. But so we stop living the life…No!!!
Failures are irritating, disturbing, and sometimes unavoidable but one thing can’t be overstated that they only act as a feather in the cap when we achieve a successful place.
To don the veil of success, one needs to smear oneself in the sweat and sand of hard work and sometimes failure too. As Henry Ford said – failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.
The thought of flinging your hands in the air and walking away is all too appealing but one who hangs in there is the one who comes out to be a badass!
So whenever you feel like you can do it, don’t stop over failures. Go straight back to the drawing board and rock it. No matter who, what or where you are at the end of the day, you only can change your life and destiny.
Last but not the least, the soul of the message is- If you think you can, you should.
Thank you for your inspiring words
Pretty inspiring blog post!
Thanks so much for your words! It’s so relevant right now in my life. I appreciate all the advice.
Reading your post this morning was confirmation for me to continue working hard on some opportunities have become available but that have been difficult due to working from home and caring for my son. I love the premise that if I move towards it, it will come back to me double.
I love what you’ve done with this post! I wish more people could understand this the way you do, but I am glad to see it being put out there <3
Yes, I so agree with your philosophy… if you think you can, then you should. One must be aware of life’s golden opportunities when they arrive and we must grab it quickly before it moves to someone else. Many blessings.
Motivating post. Thank you! Lots of great quotes in there .. “To gain something extraordinary, you’ll have to give something extraordinary:
