Dreaming to achieve bigger? How to actually do that?
Many people think and dream to achieve something bigger in life. Many of us wish to level up our living standards or increase facilities around us. But the question is, how many of them actually succeed in achieving this dream? Read along to get the answer.

While most of the people wish to taste success in life the irony is only few are there who actually make efforts to turn their dream into reality. They make plans, set goals, cultivate desires but when it comes to act upon they land up saying they’ll start from tomorrow, or next week, or after this holiday. Procrastination has become a routine affair for them and this makes them lag behind the few others who are successful in their life.
In all, honestly, there is no time like present to get started.
When the great scientist Albert Einstein said, “I never think of the future, it comes soon enough.” He meant to express his preoccupation with the present and the importance he attached to it. We make plans but we keep waiting for the correct time neglecting the importance of the present. Too much attention to the thoughts makes us forget the very fundamental law of human life that is action.
Hence what is needed is not just thought but an effort to give life to that thought. Everyone of us have the potential of turning dreams into reality. There’s small gap between what we can be and what we are, that gap can be covered by the bridge called ‘initiation’.
A famous Hindi couplet clearly states the importance of finishing tasks on time which goes as:
काल करे सो आज कर, आज करे सो अब ।
पल में परलय होएगी, बहुरि करेगा कब ॥
No one of us has seen the future and we don’t have any idea how it’s going to be. Then how can we handover our fragile dreams to the waves of uncertainty by delaying our actions to unpredictable future!
Don’t just make plans, start today. Complete what can be finished today so that you can go one step closer to your aim. A law of physics states that static energy of an object is more than its kinetic energy which means we need to put more force to move a stationary object than a moving one. So is the case with us . We just need to put an extra ounce of effort to initiate something, after that things pick up pace on their own and the everything around us give us the momentum to reach our goal.
Long story short time waits for none. Rana Gannuari very precisely made it clear to us by saying
रखो तुम बंद बे-शक अपनी घड़ियाँ
समय तो रात दिन चलता रहेगा
Hence in order to succeed , first believe that you can. Once you make a plan , execute it at the very moment , stick to your decision and never look back. To quote William James, “ Begin to be now what you can be hereafter.”
Stop putting off what can be started today.
Think less do more. Next time, before procrastinating, think for how much longer do you want to be in the condition you are in. Unveil the hidden potential inside you and break a leg with your new initiative . Future will be yours.
